A flexible silicon-based hydrogen-bonded organic framework for quasi-solid-state lithium metal batteries

XHXin-Ying HuangGMGuo Mao-linSLShang-Qi Li

Key Points

  • The aim is to develop a solid-state electrolyte that enhances lithium ion transport and stability in batteries.
  • Developed a Si-HOF-based solid-state electrolyte for lithium metal batteries.
  • Tested the electrolyte in a Li|Si-HOF SSE|LFP cell configuration.
  • Evaluated cycling stability and dendrite growth suppression.
  • The Li|Si-HOF SSE|LFP cell demonstrates long-term cycling stability.
  • Dendrite growth is effectively suppressed in the tested configuration.

Abstract

A Si-HOF-based solid-state electrolyte is developed, enabling fast Li + transport and effective TFSI − immobilization. And the Li|Si-HOF SSE|LFP cell delivers long-term cycling stability with a stable interface and suppressed dendrite growth.
