Abstract

This paper presents the Siege component of the PFUSRC system, providing a unified, deterministic, testable explanation for the two core problems of modern cosmology: dark matter and dark energy. Core Claims: 1. Dark matter is not particles. Dark matter is the product of the exclusion mechanism - topological residuals that do not participate in the steady-state coupling of the 45° bicone. 95% of the “dark” matter in the universe is not new particles but excluded, non-luminous, yet gravitationally active topological structural residuals. 2. Dark energy is not the cosmological constant Λ. Dark energy is the macroscopic manifestation of π₁ dynamic damping - the expansion-contraction alternation (breathing rhythm) of the universe is misinterpreted as “accelerated expansion” at the projection layer. DESI 2024 data have ruled out a constant Λ, which is perfectly consistent with PFUSRC predictions. 3. Dark matter and dark energy share the same origin. Both arise from the damping effect of the interlayer helix of the 45° bicone - strong damping produces the mass gap (dark matter), moderate damping produces dynamic dark energy, and extremely strong damping triggers exclusion (dark matter halos). 4. The Hubble ratio being “slightly less” than π₁ is evidence, not a flaw. The observed value of approximately 1.0837-1.0875 is slightly less than the theoretical value of 1.090909. This is precisely the evidence that the matter field produces damping on pure geometric expansion. The damping magnitude of approximately 0.6% is completely reasonable. 5.
