Technical and Practical Issues in Equating: A Discussion of Four Papers

Many of the articles on equating that have appeared the last 35 years have been concerned the development and exposition of alternative of equating, their error functions, and their in the face of violations of the assumptions to their development. The four papers here are somewhat different. Their purpose, , is to go beyond theory, to examine implications of special problems observed in application of equating methodology, to search clarifications and improvements in technique, to investigate ways in which equating methods be applied to practical testing problems. Each addresses a different set of problems; the discussion will not attempt to find common among them, but will consider each serial order.
