The system of SB curves was defined and described by Johnson (1949); see also Elderton & Johnson (1969). Tables facilitating fitting SB curves by moments have been provided by Johnson & Kitchen (1971a, b). In the present paper, methods of fitting using two pairs of symmetrical percentile points are described.
