The Prophetic Methodology in Evaluating Emotions towards Children in Sahih Bukhari

This study examines the Prophetic hadiths related to the Prophet's relationship with his family, his daughters, and his grandchildren, as found in Sahih al-Bukhari. The aim is to explore the educational aspects that can be learned from them according to modern educational concepts. Several hadiths were analyzed relating to the Prophet's interactions with his daughter Fatimah (may God be pleased with her), his granddaughter Umamah bint Zaynab, and his other daughters. These hadiths highlight his compassion, tenderness, and his keenness to provide a balanced education that combines religious and emotional values.      The study demonstrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not limit himself to direct commands and prohibitions. Rather, he used practical examples, love, kindness, and making children feel their special place, which constitutes an enduring educational model suitable for all times and places. The research also linked these attitudes to modern parenting concepts, such as parenting with love, parenting through embracing, educational flexibility, and consideration of the child's psychological and social needs. The research concluded that the Prophet's biography represents a rich source for contemporary Islamic education, where the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) methods of dealing with children, women, and families can be drawn upon and employed in modern parenting programs. The family is the nucleus of society, and children in Islam are the flower and adornment of this worldly life. They are the delight of the eyes, and through them, the souls rejoice.
