View Full Paper

Key Points

  • To address errors in the reuse of micrographs in previously published findings on Dapper2's activity in TGF-beta signaling.
  • Identification of reused images in Figures 2B and 2C.
  • Clarification that images were treated identically in the same batches.
  • Correction issued to the figure legend to denote image representation.
  • Errors in image representation were acknowledged and clarified in the correction notice.
  • Reused images were confirmed to have been treated the same for accurate comparison.
  • The authors issued an apology for any confusion caused by the error.

Abstract

Y. Su, L. Zhang, X. Gao, et al., “ The Evolutionally Conserved Activity of Dapper2 in Antagonizing TGF-ß Signaling,” FASEB Journal 21 (2007): 682–690, https://doi.org/10.1096/fj.06-6246com. The representative micrograph in Figure 2Bh was reused in Figure 2C Wild Type. The representative micrograph in Figure 2Bj was reused in Figure 2C Dpr2 mRNA. The Figure 2 legend should have indicated that the images were representative and treated identically in the same batches and were reused for comparison. The authors apologize for this error.
