Bibliometric studies are widely employed to evaluate scholarly productivity, research trends, thematic evolution, and intellectual impact of individual researchers and institutions. The present study undertakes a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of the research publications of Dr. KP Singh, Professor, Department of Library and Information Science, University of Delhi. The dataset for the study is drawn exclusively from the official academic profile at DU website, profile at ResearchGate and webpage of Professor KP Singh covering peer-reviewed journal articles. Using standard bibliometric indicators such as publication growth, journal dispersion, subject distribution, authorship pattern, collaboration trends, and research focus areas, the study examines the evolution and contribution of Professor Singh’s research over more than two decades. The findings reveal sustained scholarly productivity, a strong dominance of bibliometric and scientometric research, consistent publication in leading Indian LIS journals, and a growing engagement with emerging areas such as open access, ICT applications, altmetrics, and digital libraries. The study contributes to the literature on author-level bibliometrics and provides insights into the development of LIS research in India.
