Gurpreet Singh : The Importance of Reviving Punjabi

This interview is a part of the “Punjabi in BC” oral history project (2019-2023). “Punjabi in BC” is comprised of interviews with over 50 K-12 teachers, language advocates, journalists, and writers who have contributed to the life of the Punjabi language in British Columbia, Canada. The subject of this interview is Gurpreet Singh, an independent journalist who is a newscaster and talk show host at Spice Radio 1200 AM band. He also runs Radical Desi, an online magazine that covers alternative politics. Singh has also authored six books. This interview has one promotional interview, in addition to the full interview.
