Sahayak AI is an advanced AI-powered educational assistant system designed to enhance learning through an agentic Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipeline. The system integrates query rewriting, semantic retrieval, re-ranking, conversational memory, and prompt engineering to deliver accurate and context-aware responses. The platform supports multi-modal learning, including document-based Q&A, summarization, AI-generated notes, and personalized recommendations. Additional features include multilingual support, voice interaction, knowledge graphs, and real-time progress tracking. This work presents the system architecture, pipeline design, and implementation details, demonstrating how modern LLM-based systems can transform digital education.
