Key Points

  • To address and correct inaccuracies in published supplementary data related to ATF7IP/SETDB1-mediated epigenetic programming.
  • Identified errors in figures and data within the HTML and PDF versions of the article.
  • Corrected labeling errors in supplementary figures and adjusted corresponding source data.
  • Corrected imaging inaccuracies that altered interpretations in supplementary figures.
  • Ensured all supplementary data now align with the intended findings of the study.

Abstract

In the version of the article initially published, in Fig. 6f, the control IgG graphs for the “WT” group (first bar) and the “ atf7ip −/− + setdb1b mRNA” group (fifth bar) were incorrect due to copy–paste errors in the Source Data file. In Supplementary Fig. 1g, the source data for the control expression of “ tcrα ” were inadvertently copied from the source data for the control “ ikaros ” expression. In Supplementary Fig. 1h, the control “ rag2 :DsRed” image was mistakenly replaced with the “WT, rag2 :DsRed” image from Fig. 1f. In Supplementary Fig. 4g, the “WT” image was inadvertently replaced with the “ setdb1b −/− + coro1a:irf4a ” image from Supplementary Fig. 5e. In Supplementary Fig. 5k, although the embryo quantification graph in panel k was correct, the source data were inadvertently copied from Supplementary Fig. 5m. In the Source Data file, the titles for Supplementary Figs. 6 and 7 were incorrectly labelled as ‘Supplementary Fig. 7’ and ‘Supplementary Fig. 8’, respectively, and an unnecessary final data file was included; these have been corrected. These errors have been corrected in the HTML and PDF versions of the article.
