Key Points

  • This research aims to evaluate the expansion rate of the universe using the REMLER methodology while aligning local and global measurements.
  • Utilized the REMLER methodology and the standard FLRW metric with a constant cosmological constant.
  • Analyzed global CMB datasets from Planck 2018 and DESI 2025.
  • Assessed local H0 values within a spherically closed manifold.
  • Achieved consistent H0 value of 63.17−1.92+1.92 km/s/Mpc.
  • Identified a cosmic age of 14.26−0.20+0.25 Gyr.
  • Determined a recalibrated corridor of local H0 values from 61.25 to 65.03 km/s/Mpc.

Abstract

Version 1.2: Small corrections. This paper presents a simple two-step procedure for evaluating the expansion rate of the universe using the REMLER (Recalibration of Measured Local Expansion Rates) methodology. Relaxing the spatial curvature parameter within the framework of the standard FLRW metric, while adhering to the condition of a constant cosmological constant (L) enables a consistent alignment between global cosmic microwave background (CMB) datasets from the Planck 2018 𝐻0=63.6−2.3+2.1 km/s/Mpc, the DESI 2025 re-analysis 𝐻0=63.3−2.1+2.1 km/s/Mpc, and independent local measurements.Applying the REMLER approach to a spherically closed manifold shows that local 𝐻0values in the range 70.39 to 76.5 km/s/Mpc naturally recalibrate into a narrower corridor of 61.25–65.03 km/s/Mpc.Assuming that the global evolution of the universe is governed by the Friedmann equations derived from Einstein's field equations without introducing modified physics or speculative free parameters, the REMLER solution yields the following stable physical parameters for the present-day universe: the mathematical center of the global Hubble constant reaches a value of 𝐻0=63.17−1.92+1.92 km/s/Mpc, cosmic age 𝑡0=14.26−0.20+0.25 Gyr, cosmic radius of 𝑅0=147.1−20.5+59.1 Gly, and deceleration parameter 𝑞0=−0.478−0.025+0.023.
