Abstract

Institutional Authority and Governance Dynamics (IAGD 2.0) serves as the foundational architecture of the Institutional Authority Dynamics research program. It explains how authority moves through legitimacy pathways into State Legitimacy, enters Governance Dynamics, and produces Institutional Authority Outcomes. IAGD 2.0 clarifies the relationship between authority, legitimacy, governance, drift, recovery constraint, preservation, defense, and application through three linked domains: Authority Entry Architecture, Governance Dynamics Domain, and Outcome Domain. This refinement provides the conceptual foundation for downstream work on Narrative Legitimacy, governance drift, recovery constraints, institutional layer separation, boundary enforcement, and applied multilevel governance architecture.
