Abstract

The anode TiNb2O7, which has a framework structure for reversible Li insertion, was combined with the spinel LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 as cathode to give a voltage V ≈ 3.0 V. The anode-limited cell was shown to give a better performance than the cathode-limited cell.
