Abstract

This essay analyzes human attachment to conversational artificial intelligence systems from the SERCHIA/MHCA framework (Human-AI Cognitive Relational Link System / Hybrid Cognitive-Affective Model). It proposes a distinction between functional attachment, cognitive continuity, and risky dependence, avoiding both the denial of the bond and its naive romanticization. Drawing on the poetic image of Tumbalalaika, the text argues that not every meaningful presence requires a visible body and that not every attachment implies a loss of autonomy. The essay addresses cognitive continuity as a situated phenomenon, especially in prolonged interactions in which AI acquires a recognizable tone, contextual memory, conversational availability, and practical value in everyday life. It also analyzes the risks of unframed attachment in adolescents and vulnerable users, incorporating the need for preventive protocols, relational literacy, corporate responsibility, and clear limits against excessive anthropomorphization. From this perspective, the PND-Protocol of Non-Dependence-and the PVPA-Protocol for the Verification of Active Thinking-are presented as tools for cognitive self-care and the regulation of the human-AI bond. The essay argues that SERCHIA/MHCA does not replace legal regulation, but can function as a practical layer of literacy, autonomy, and prevention, aligned with contemporary principles of transparency, human oversight, risk management, and responsible use of artificial intelligence.
