Abstract

The Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) requirements of Public Law 99-457 challenge early intervention professionals to reexamine models for team interaction. Programs moving toward a family-focused approach will provide families with a menu of program options, including the opportunity to choose the level of team participation that best meets individual family needs.
