hemodynamic response to carotid sinus hypotension (CSH) was obtained by bilateral common carotid or brachiocephalic artery occlusion in trained, chronically instrumented dogs lightly pre-medicated with morphine and atropine. Responses were ob-tained before and after anesthesia of equivalent dose by pen-tobarbital (PB, 30 min post), chloralose (C, 30 min post), or halothane (H, 120 min post).
