A unified treatise on the loop, the tree, and the constants of self-reference. The primitive act of distinction generates, under the discipline of re-entry and linear resource management, the constants e and pi, the completions of the rational numbers, the loop-tree duality of the Langlands program, the mathematical structure of quantum theory, and the grammar of a universal logical language. Forty sections spanning Spencer-Brown's Laws of Form, linear and differential linear logic, the emergence of e and pi as logical scalars, adelic geometry and Tate's thesis, the Langlands program as natural duality, the physics of the re-entrant mark (oscillator, Compton frequency, zitterbewegung, measurement, holography, black hole entropy), statistics (CLT, Poisson, maximum entropy, Levy-Khintchine), and traced differential cohesive linear homotopy type theory.
