Abstract

Semicrystalline microparticles of high molecular mass polyethylene can be prepared as aqueous dispersions by catalytic emulsion polymerization of ethylene with a mini-emulsified catalyst precursor (DD=salicylaldimine, L=pyridine). Stable polymer latexes are formed.
