Abstract

We present the Wave-State Framework (WST), a substrate account built on two co-equal substrate populations sharing a common lattice of position-time sites. The first is a dilute field of discrete, massless entities, called Archons, whose density can vary; its gradients drive gravity, its collection into integer quotas constitutes mass, and its disturbances are light. The second is a dense field, called Durons, whose number density exceeds the Archon density by a factor of order 10³8; its gradients drive the strong interaction, and its advance through the site lattice is the stage on which time passes. The lattice itself holds the charge that occupation displaces. The framework does not attempt to produce numbers that differ from established physics. It attempts to supply substrate mechanisms beneath results that are already correct, so agreement with measurement is the entry requirement rather than the achievement. Obtained as consequences rather than independent inputs: the speed of light as a field ratio; a surface law for mass; the relativistic factors; the Bohr magneton with a mechanism that dissolves the classical factor-137 objection; spin-orbit coupling at 1. 000 times the measured value, with the Thomas half derived from the composition of two Lorentz boosts rather than inserted; the Yukawa form of the strong force; the position of the iron peak; the hydrogen spectrum including the alpha⁴ term to all digits; the Schrodinger equation; and Bell correlations at the Tsirelson bound. Two axioms are imported and stated explicitly, and three values are imported: the absolute strength of gravity, the cosmological constant, and the ratio between the two sectors. The principal limitation is stated in the abstract rather than hidden at the end. There is no case in which this framework has predicted a number in advance and been found correct. Every numerical agreement reported is a reproduction of an already-known result, using axioms shared with standard physics. The framework therefore has no supporting evidence in the strong sense, and we do not claim otherwise. More than one hundred and fifty mechanisms this framework once claimed have been withdrawn, each with a numerical reason recorded. We regard that record as scientific content rather than something to conceal: it prevents readers from walking into dead ends already explored, and it is the part we would ask a critical reader to examine first. Falsifiable predictions include high-frequency damping of gravitational waves, which yields a bound of 0. 18 femtometres on the Archon mean free path from existing LIGO/Virgo data; a non-zero mass for the lightest neutrino; hadron cross-sections scaling with quark count; a mass-independent decoherence floor; and a prohibition on black holes lighter than 0. 655 solar masses, which forbids the entire asteroid-mass primordial black hole window. The work was carried out with substantial assistance from a large language model. The division of labour is stated in full in the paper. All physical hypotheses, all interpretive choices, and every decision to claim, keep, or withdraw are the author's. The author has verified all numerical results and takes full responsibility for the entire contents, irrespective of how any part was generated.
