An analysis of the effectiveness of using traditional and innovative methods and techniques in teaching the Russian language in the communicative language space was carried out. It is revealed that the use of interactive methods allows students to successfully master communication skills and act in conditions of intercultural communication and professional language activities. In the new conditions, knowledge of the Russian language remains a factor of personal competitiveness of any specialist in the Republic of Kazakhstan, since his work usually takes place in a multinational team. In this regard, knowledge of the Russian language will help future specialists to easily adapt to the communicative and linguistic space. It is noted that through the introduction of innovative teaching methods and techniques, there is a real reform of the educational process as a whole. The purpose of the article is to determine the level of interest of students in using traditional and innovative teaching methods when learning Russian in the communicative language space.
