Abstract

Youth empowerment is pivotal in addressing socio-economic challenges across Africa, with Morocco serving as a case study. A qualitative approach was employed to explore existing laws and policies related to youth engagement in Moroccan legal systems. Youth participation rates in legal forums were found to be disproportionately low, indicating a need for more inclusive legislative reforms. The analysis highlights the critical importance of integrating youth perspectives into law-making processes to foster equitable social development. Policy recommendations include increasing funding for youth-oriented legal education programmes and establishing dedicated youth advisory boards within judicial systems.
