Miguel Ángel Martínez-González is a medical doctor and epidemiologist serving as an Adjunct Professor of Nutrition at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health since 2016. He is also a Professor of Preventive Medicine and Public Health at the University of Navarra, where he founded and chaired the Department of Preventive Medicine for 27 years until 2022. He led the PREDIMED trial investigating the effects of the Mediterranean diet on primary prevention of cardiovascular disease.
