Stefano Schiaffino is Vice President of the Veneto Institute of Molecular Medicine and Professor Emeritus of General Pathology at the University of Padova. His research includes studies on myosin isoforms in skeletal and cardiac muscle, mechanisms of muscle atrophy, and molecular markers in cardiac tissue.
