She holds a joint appointment as Professorial Fellow at the George Institute for Global Health and has affiliations with the University of Sydney. Previously, she served as Director of the Hypertension in Africa Research Team and the Medical Research Council Extramural Unit for Hypertension and Cardiovascular Disease at North-West University in South Africa.
