Sofia Malyutina is the Head of the Laboratory of Etiopathogenesis and Clinical Aspects of Internal Diseases at the Research Institute of Therapy and Preventive Medicine, a branch of the Institute of Cytology and Genetics of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, since 2013. She is also affiliated with Novosibirsk State Medical University. She is a Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, and a member of the European Society of Cardiology.
