C. David Mazer

Dr. C. David Mazer is a professor in the Department of Anesthesia at the University of Toronto and a scientist at St. Michael's Hospital / Unity Health Toronto. He received his MD from the University of Saskatchewan in 1978 and completed anesthesia residency (FRCPC) at the University of Toronto in 1985, followed by fellowship training in cardiovascular anesthesia research at UCSF. He has served as Vice-Chair for Research in the Department of Anesthesia at the University of Toronto (2006-2015) and is currently chair of the research ethics board at St. Michael's Hospital.
