Leila Abid is a Professor and Head of the Department of Cardiology at Hédi Chaker University Hospital and Sfax University Medical School in Sfax, Tunisia. She serves as the President of the Tunisian College of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery and is the Immediate Past President of the Tunisian Society of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery. She coordinates post-graduate Masters courses at Sfax University Medical School and leads national registries on hypertension, heart failure, and atrial fibrillation.
