Edward Michael Gilbert, MD is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Utah School of Medicine. He serves as the Program Director for the Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Fellowship in the Division of Cardiology at the University of Utah School of Medicine and as the Associate Medical Director of the Utah Transplantation Affiliated Hospitals Cardiac Transplant Program. He has been on faculty at the University of Utah since 1988 and is active in clinical work, education, and research in advanced heart failure and heart transplantation.
