Professor Tim Cable is the Director of the Institute of Sport at Manchester Metropolitan University. He previously held positions as Director of School of Sport and Exercise Sciences at Liverpool John Moores University from 2001 to 2012 and Head of School of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation Sciences at University of Birmingham from 2018 to 2021. He has published over 230 research articles on topics including the impact of exercise on endothelial function and cardiovascular control.
