Matthew T. Rondina, MD, MS, is a Professor in the Departments of Internal Medicine and Pathology at the University of Utah. He serves as Director of the Molecular Medicine Program at the University of Utah and as Medical Director of the Thrombosis Service at the Salt Lake City Veterans Administration Health Center. His research focuses on how inflammation alters platelet and megakaryocyte gene expression and function in thrombo-inflammatory syndromes including sepsis and cardiometabolic disorders.
