Mona Nemer

Mona Nemer works in Pediatric / Congenital Cardiology affiliated with University of Ottawa.

Mona Nemer is Professor of Biochemistry at the University of Ottawa and Director of its Molecular Genetics and Cardiac Regeneration Laboratory. She previously served as Vice-President of Research at the University of Ottawa from 2006 to 2017 and as Professor of Pharmacology at Université de Montréal, where she directed the Cardiac Genetics Unit at the Montréal Clinical Research Institute. Her research focuses on the molecular genetics of cardiac development, congenital heart defects, and heart failure.
