Akira Hata

Akira Hata is Professor and Chairman of the Department of Public Health at Chiba University Graduate School of Medicine. He previously held positions at The University of Tokyo, Asahikawa Medical University, Tokai University, Hyogo Medical University, and was an Investigator at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. His research focuses on genetic factors in Kawasaki disease, hypertension, and related cardiovascular conditions.
