Antigone Lazou

Antigone Lazou works in Cross-Cutting Cardiology affiliated with Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Antigone Lazou is Professor of Physiology at the School of Biology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki since 2003 and has held visiting professor positions including at the University of Reading. She is affiliated with the University of Nicosia and maintains collaborations with institutions such as the Slovak Academy of Sciences and University of Padua. Her research focuses on cardiac ischemia-reperfusion injury, PPAR signaling, and cardioprotection mechanisms.
