Anecita Fadol, PhD, APRN, FNP, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Nursing with a joint appointment in the Department of Cardiology and serves as Education Director of the Nursing Cardiology Program at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Her research focuses on symptom management of patients with cancer and concurrent heart failure, including development and validation of the MD Anderson Symptom Inventory-Heart Failure (MDASI-HF). She is a member of the Board of Directors of the International Cardio-Oncology Society and chair of its nursing leadership committee.
