Priya Palta, PhD, MHS, is an Associate Professor of Neurology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine. She specializes in research at the intersection of cardiovascular disease, aging, and neuroepidemiology, leading studies on vascular contributions to cognitive decline and dementia using cohorts such as the Atherosclerosis Risk in Communities Study. She previously completed her PhD and MHS in epidemiology at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a postdoctoral fellowship in cardiovascular epidemiology at UNC.
