Alessandra Dei Cas is Associate Professor of Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases in the Department of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Parma and Director of the Complex Structure of Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases at the Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria di Parma (Ospedale di Parma). She graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Parma in 1998 and completed a PhD at King's College London after a two-year research period there. Her research focuses on diabetes pathophysiology, its cardiovascular complications including heart failure, and metabolic therapies.
