José J. Fuster is an Associate Professor and Group Leader of the Hematovascular Pathophysiology laboratory at the Spanish National Centre for Cardiovascular Research (CNIC) in Madrid, Spain. He graduated in Biochemistry from the University of Valencia in 2005 and earned his Ph.D. there in 2010. He previously held positions at Boston University School of Medicine, where he established research on somatic mutations in blood cells and cardiovascular disease.
