Emanuele Di Angelantonio is a Professor of Clinical Epidemiology and Donor Health at the University of Cambridge, where he serves as Director of the NIHR Blood and Transplant Research Unit in Donor Health and Deputy-Director of the Cardiovascular Epidemiology Unit. He is also Head of the Health Data Science Centre at Human Technopole in Milan and holds an honorary consultant position at NHS Blood and Transplant. He trained as a physician in cardiovascular medicine in Italy and France, and his research focuses on cardiovascular epidemiology, risk assessment, and blood donor health.
