Reed E. Pyeritz

Reed E. Pyeritz is the William Smilow Professor of Medicine Emeritus at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. He focused his career on medical genetics, particularly hereditary disorders of the cardiovascular system such as Marfan syndrome. He held faculty positions at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and the Medical College of Pennsylvania before joining the University of Pennsylvania in 2001.
