Irene Mateo Leach

Irene Mateo Leach received her PhD in Evolutionary Genetics in 2009 from the University of Groningen. She worked as a postdoc at the Cardiology Department of the University Medical Center Groningen, researching the genetic and epigenetic background of heart failure and related phenotypes. Since 2016, she has worked as a Funding Advisor and Project Manager at several UMCG departments and the UMCG Research BV.
