Steven O. Marx, M.D., is the Director of the Cardiovascular Fellowship Program at Columbia University Medical Center/NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. His research focuses on molecular cardiology, particularly the regulation of ion channels in the heart, and vascular biology. He received his M.D. from Albany Medical College and completed fellowships at Johns Hopkins, University of Rochester, and Mount Sinai Medical Center.
