Madeleine W. Cunningham is the George Lynn Cross Research Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. She is also the co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Moleculera Labs. Her research focuses on the pathogenesis of group A streptococcal infections and their links to autoimmune heart diseases such as rheumatic carditis and myocarditis.
