Susan L. Hamilton, Ph.D., is Professor and L. F. McCollum Chair in Molecular Physiology in the Department of Integrative Physiology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Her research focuses on ion channel regulation, particularly ryanodine receptors, and their roles in cardiac electrophysiology, arrhythmias, and cardiomyopathy. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Colorado School of Medicine and completed advanced training at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.
