Umberto Morbiducci is a Full Professor of Industrial Bioengineering at the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering of Politecnico di Torino. He coordinates the Biomedical Engineering programs at the institution and heads the Biomedical Simulations Unit. His research encompasses in vivo, in vitro, and in silico studies of cardiovascular fluid mechanics, design of cardiac prostheses, and multiscale modeling.
