Manuel Gorostidi is the Head of the Hypertension and Blood Pressure Control Section in the Nephrology Service at Hospital Universitario Central de Asturias. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Oviedo. He has contributed to guidelines on hypertension diagnosis and treatment from the Spanish Society of Hypertension.
