Professor Mark Gallagher is a Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where he has served as the clinical lead in electrophysiology since 2009. He completed his medical training in Ireland and subspecialty training in cardiac electrophysiology at St George's Hospital in London starting in 1996. He previously established an interventional electrophysiology unit at Policlinico Tor Vergata in Rome in 2003.
