Thierry Couffinhal

Thierry Couffinhal is a Professor of Cardiology at the Université de Bordeaux and head of the Exploration, Prevention and Care Center for Atherosclerosis at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Bordeaux. He leads the INSERM Unit U1034, specializing in vascular biology, thrombosis, and cardiovascular diseases. He completed his medical education and training at the University of Bordeaux and a postdoctoral fellowship at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Boston, affiliated with Tufts University.
