Wojciech Kosmala serves as the head of the Cardiovascular Imaging Department at the Institute of Heart Diseases, Wrocław Medical University and Wrocław University Hospital in Poland. He holds honorary appointments at the Menzies Institute for Medical Research at the University of Tasmania in Hobart and at the Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute in Melbourne, Australia. His research interests include heart failure with preserved ejection fraction, preclinical heart failure, and metabolic heart disease.
