This study aims to analyze the profile of students’ science process skills (SPS) in biology learning of grade X at SMAN 1 Suliki. This descriptive quantitative study employed essay tests based on ten SPS indicators by Rustaman et al. (2011) as its main instrument. A total of 90 students were selected through simple random sampling. Data analysis included validity testing, reliability, item difficulty, and item discrimination. The results showed that 16 test items were valid with high reliability (0.61). The average SPS achievement was 42.69%, categorized as moderate. The highest score was in observation skills (64.44%) and the lowest in interpretation (26.67%). Most students fell into the moderate category (78.89%), followed by good (16.67%) and low (4.44%). These results indicate the need to optimize process-based science learning in biology education.
