Circular economy is a model focused on sustainable use of resources, reuse of materials and waste minimization, which in turn helps to reduce the negative impact on the environment and improve the environmental situation. This approach is increasingly becoming not only an environmental necessity, but also an important element of effective business strategies in the context of limited natural resources and stricter environmental regulations. Within the framework of the circular economy, enterprises strive to create cyclical processes where materials and resources at all stages of the product life cycle are recycled, restored and reused, which significantly reduces the need for new resources and minimizes the amount of waste. The advantages of this approach include reduced operating costs, increased operational efficiency, the creation of new business models, and a significant reduction in the environmental footprint of the enterprise. At the same time, the transition to a closed cycle is associated with a number of challenges, including high initial investments, the need to modernize production processes and introduce innovative technologies. In addition, an important factor is the availability of an appropriate legislative and regulatory framework that supports sustainable development and stimulates the transition to a circular economy. The work will analyze existing business models and successful practices of companies implementing the principles of a circular economy, and also consider the social and economic aspects affecting business sustainability.
